RACISM IN OUR WORLD The topic racism,has always being an emotional one for me. It makes me question humanity and the essence of life itself. Racism for me is the feeling of superiority based on something as plain as colour and what can possibly be wrong with this feeling? I  would say everything. You are not better than me because you have a white skin and I'm certainly not better than you because I'm black. And who would have thought that in this age and time that racism will be something in existence and not something taught to the younger generation as history.  Racism is not going to end until we all start to see our difference in skin colour as our strength rather than a threat. It is heartbreaking to see the hate,wickedness and injustice a man is willing to carry out on another because of the difference in the colour of their skin. A QUESTION OF FAITH Faith is usually talked about as believing in something that is not visible,something to come. Having faith is what keeps us going in life. Faith like- I'm going to get admitted into my dream university someday, I will soon get my perfect job,the perfect man/woman for me is going to come to me soon, I am going to have my own children no matter the delay etc so many things that we believe and have faith will come to pass and this faith pulls us up every morning and every single day. Then we sit and wait. We Pray some,confess some and believe some and right there before our eyes we see others having their dreams come through and we wonder if ours will be next. Time flies by and the odds are against us and uncertainty sets in but we decide against all odds to have a little more faith.  HEROES ARE HUMAN TOO PART 1       At what point in your life did you realize that HEROES are HUMANS too? I'm not taking about the cartoon heroes, I'm referring to our parents,siblings and those elderly people who as kids we saw as mini gods and they could never do wrong in our eyes.In-fact we were ready to fight with anyone who said anything contrary about them. I used to see my mama and elder sister as the best people on earth till I grew up and realized they're just human too" and a whole lot of memories flooded my head. I was recently struggling with a burning desire to follow a particular trend even though that trend did not really suit my person. Thank goodness I snapped out of it quickly but this was what I learned 1. We all have the urge to belong to something- Every human always want to belong to  something or to be seen as a part to something and very few take out time to really consider what they are getting into and the overall consequences. 2. Our thinking is wrong- We think that trends and our being part of it 'validates' us but the truth is we validate trends. It can't be what we don't make it be and it certainly has no power to control us or make us be what we don't want to be. 3.
